Bold Rock Beef Marinade

The marinade brings the heat, and the cider glaze brings the sweet. Cider-infused and mouth-watering, this jerk marinade is great for all occasions! Use this marinade as a stand-alone, or try the meal options below! Bonus: Cook once, dine twice options. 

  •    Prep: 15 minutes, marinade 1 hour or overnight

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs cleaned flank steak
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Bold Rock Draft Amber Cider
For jerk seasoning: 
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2-3 teaspoons cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • zest of 1/2 orange

Instructions

  • 1. Combine 2 Tbsp jerk seasoning with Bold Rock Draft Amber Cider, olive oil, and steak into a ziplock bag. Remove as much air as possible from the bag. Put bag in refrigerator and marinate for a minimum of 1 hour (can be done overnight/a day in advance also)
